FANTASYCON 2011: 30 September - 2 October 2011

Brighton sesfront at SunsetFantasyCon goes to the seaside... at the Royal Albion Hotel, Brighton, which stands directly opposite Brighton Pier.

Mistress of Ceremonies will be our very own Sarah Pinborough, British Fantasy Award-Wiinning Author of The Language of Dying and A Matter of Blood.

Guests of Honour to be advised at a later date. Full information about how to book accommodation etc. will be avaiilable shortly via our website.

 

BFS Open Night @ The George - Saturday 31st July

We're pleased to announce our first open night – well afternoon – for 2010 taking place from 1pm until 5pm at the usual venue The George, 213 Strand, London, WC1R 2AP.

 

The guest speaker will be Lauren Beukes, a South African author, script writer and recovering journalist who occasionally falls off the wagon.


She is the author of Moxyland and Zoo City, published in the UK by those mechanical folks at Angry Robot.

 

We hope you'll join us in welcoming Lauren to our shores.

 

BFS Open Night: 31st July

The next British Fantasy Society's Open Night takes place at The George on Saturday 31st July.

York Open Night Cancelled

Please note that the York Open Night planned for October 31 has been cancelled. Instead there will be one on Saturday, 30 January 2010, at York Brewery. Our apologies to anyone who had made plans to travel to the event.
